Tempo.

Passamos o tempo a correr...sem parar...e quando percebemos que é tarde...que o fim está próximo...fazemos tudo para tentar recuperar o tempo perdido. Mesmo assim...basta saber que ainda temos mais algum tempo...e voltamos à rotina.

O que farias se tivesses apenas mais um dia para viver?

Pensa bem antes de responder, be honest. A única pessoa que estarás a enganar és tu. O que farias mesmo? Imagina o momento, a situação e as consequências. Pensa bem no que farias se apenas tivesses mais um dia.

Who said study and work should be boring and tedious? Seriously...i know that sometimes we have to do things that we don't enjoy as much....but i believe we should always try to make the most of every moment. And if you need to do something, then find something you like while doing it. It will increase your know how and better the way you do it.

Right now i'm lying in the green fresh smooth grass, taking a sun shower and studying BioInorganic...awww...it's those little things that make life great. Life worth living. One day, in the far future, if you can still read this, be it me or my son...always remember kid: Life is life. That's it. Not good nor bad. It is you that can define how you will take it. It's not what happens to you, but how you will Act and React to the things that happen to you that will define who you are. Be strong young one and remember that you are much more than meets the eye. You know it inside. Don't ever forget that. Be wise, listen and watch. Pay attention to everything and learn from everything. Practice everything. And never be afraid to fail. Be afraid to not try. You know what i mean =)
Remember that the only thing holding you back is your mind.
Oh, and read a lot of spider-man comics...they are AWESOME =)

There she is up in the sky. She's beautiful =)
...we know it's the sun reflecting on the moon that gives that beautiful effect...even so, there's something magical about it...i could even put some music thinking it would be suitable for this moment. But no, there are some things that do not need anything more.
Just lying here, gazing her...letting my thoughts flow in every breath...it's amazing what the most simple thing can do to you. Something so simple like watching the moon shine in the sky.
And to think that this moment is being shared by so many, it amazes me...indeed we are all connected.

yesterday.

This might be hard to say, but it's the truth. Open your eyes, breath deeply and understand:  Yesterday is gone, so say goodbye. Say Hello to a new day. To a brand new day.

 The skies are blue, there are no more clouds stopping the sun from warming your heart.  Yesterday is gone and today...today is a brand new day.
Make good use of it. Smile and show the sun what it really means to shine =)

Live.  Live. Live. Know and understand this: THIS is YOUR LIFE. Don't let anyone else live it for you. Live IT yourself. Make mistakes, they can happen it's part of learning, of living.  BUT do NOT be afraid to LIVE your LIFE to it's FULL. If  you do something do it with ALL your Heart and Soul. Put everything you got in everything you do. When you walk, you WALK. When you sit, you SIT. Be in the moment. Be the moment. Don't do something here and think about somewhere else. And don't be stupid...use your head. You know what i mean. Just don't go the easy way, don't let the voices of those that are not willing to risk it, to hold you back. Open the window and let all the sickness out, let the wind and sun come in and let it all be cleaned by them. And if you are unhappy about something, do something about it. Don't just wish things would be different. Change the "i wish" for "i will" and then "i will" for "i did it".

And trust me, it is ok to fail. As long as you don't give up.

Uma das minhas citações favoritas. Mas para conseguirmos ir mais longe temos que criar bases fortes, uma estrutura de pensamento sólida e ao mesmo tempo flexível para dar lugar a novas ideias. Sozinho é dificil, mas quando temos a oportunidade de aprender com pessoas que partilham de uma paixão pela ciência e com vontade de ensinar e estimular a curiosidade então este fardo, esta tarefa de aprender torna-se mais acessível. Quando encontramos alguém que faz isto devemos dar o devido respeito porque são pessoas assim que fazem mover o mundo, que inspiram, pessoas com bom coração e com vontade de ajudar.

Recentemente tive a sorte de encontrar uma pessoa assim.

Tinha mesmo que ser, não podia deixar passar um gesto destes.
Sabe bem estudar ciência. Principalmente quando conheço pessoas que promovem o pensamento, que dão combustível à chama da curiosidade. Quando criam oportunidades para que o "explorador" em nós possa navegar pelo universo da Ciência. Foi a primeira vez que vi e "mexi" em Azoto liquido e é ESPECTACULAR.

Acredito que os teus alunos foram pessoas com muita sorte e que és um elemento precioso ao mundo da Ciência. Deus te abençoe.
