still believe.

I've been told that life can be hard, to not open myself to much to people. that i will be hurt if i trust to much.
But what is life if you dont live it with all you have? Do you want to live a "half-life"? Always with one foot in the ground? If you dont trust with all your heart, can you call it trust?

People say: don't waste your time, you simply cannot find a ounce of good in the heart of man, the heart is to far away to be saved. To not raise our voice cause we don't have a choice. That we cannot change, but change is the only constant in the Universe. I've seen good in the heart of men.

I understand that there are some...that substitute force for understanding! That  would destroy that which you cannot comprehend! ... From cradle to grave — their lives are rooted in senseless violence! Because they know no better. Because they cannot see or never had seen greatness. I believe all of we can be Great. Though it's something people don't think it's possible, they think it's a myth...a fairytale, that you have to kill or be killed. That there's no other choice. Either you do bad or bad is done to you. I say NO. I cannot accept this. There is always another way. Violence, lies and disrespect is for the weak of mind, for those that gave up on love and justice. For what is right, for what we know deep inside that is right. Even now, i understand that my words would make some people laugh, saying that i'm a kid...that i don't know how the "real" world works. I know how it works, and it is not the "real" world. We are the world. We are the ones creating these stupid situations. Looking the other way when bad things appear in front of us...thinking that we just want to get home and everything will be ok...that it's someone else problem. Living for ourselves...or should i say, existing for ourselves. When one does not live to do what is right to live in all its might, can we call it Life?

I wonder when we start believing there's no hope for good...when did we start thinking it's ok to just not care and do nothing.
How can we live and walk straight knowing that we do evil, that we are not doing our best to make this world a better place. We have created airplanes and cars to shorten the distance between people, we have created radio and internet so we can comunicate with each other. And we've have never been so far apart from our  brother, we have never had so much trouble talking to the ones we love. We’ve never been so many,
and we've never been so alone. We were never meant to settle for mediocrity, this life was never made to be a waste of time.

The choice for good and evil is made by all who live, with every single heartbeat! We are trapped inside the walls we raise to "protect" us from evil. Trapped inside our own fears. Somewhere while we were growing...the magic vanished...but i believe there's still a spark inside our hearts. In everyone.

If each one of us starts doing what we know is right, maybe, then maybe we can influence the world and show people that is possible to be good. To shine and let others see how marvelous one can be, how there is greatness in all of us. That it is ok to be good. That everyone can be good. Let us shine and be all we can be. Let us be the beacon that shows there's still hope for our race. Because things are not looking good...

People can’t change what they are until and unless they understand what they can be.
